Hi everyone!!! This is the web site of Kairòs. We are a group of people who try to live the harmony between their own homosexuality and the trust in Jesus Christ, the Redeemer.

We differ in age, education, social condition.

We meet in Florence, Italy, a town rich in beauty, a witness of the effort of so many women and men of the past to make all of us more understanding.

We also intend to dig into our humanity, backgrounds, joys and woes - the true field of the Lord - in search of the "precious pearl " which brightens of meaning our days.

As homosexuals, we propose to leave and have as a goal the intimacy of being with Christ, by praying, listening to his message, proceeding sincerely, honestly, serenely through the eventful ways of the world.

We need way fellows!!!

We recognize that the message of Jesus does represent the Kairòs, that is the right occasion of meeting between ourselves and Him ( God ) in order to become friends of Love towards happiness.

We believe the faith in Jesus is not an ensemble of theories, specially made to say who is right and who is wrong, who is a saint and who is a sinner. Jesus is a friend who calls us to stay together even when one has opposing ideas, different wishes and aspirations, different views about the religious, ethical, political experience, as long as there are mutual respect, avowal of one's limits, will to grow up in listening, friendship, and love.

Diversity is enrichment and not uneasiness: each clash can become a contact!!!

But we have a proposal - not an imposition - to do.

Along the way giving a hand to "Who, every single day, for two thousand years, repealing by means of their flesh the law made up of precepts and decrees", has been repeating us: "there are neither Judaens nor Greeks, neither slaves nor free folks; there is neither man nor woman, for all of us are one thing in Jesus Christ " ( Gal 3,28 ).

The meetings of Kairòs group are moments of meditation and prayer, as well as a means of knowledge and comparison. We meet twice a month.
